Steven Gaswirth began to study acting in 1993 with Patti Maloney at SUNY Rockland in New York. In 1996 he co-starred on a TV show for USA Networks called "Up All Night with Rhonda Shear." He appeared in television commercials and worked on several New York Film Academy short films.
In 2000 he went to Hollywood, California continuing his studies with several teachers such as Amanda Hendon, Sal Romeo, Janice Allen, Michael Sonntag and currently with Johnny Coppola.
In 2005 Steve had several supporting roles in independent films like "Central Booking" and "Al Qarem." Steve also played a leading role in another independent film called "Desolate City."
In 2007 he played several supporting roles. One in a short comedy called "A Guy Named Murphy" on Steven Speilberg’s reality show website www.thelot.com and another in a short film called "My Michelle."
In 2008 Steve had a supporting role in a full feature film called "Knuckledraggers."
